Consulting times and appointments
Doctors start at 8.00am, we do not work on Saturdays, however, do work on alternate Sundays between 8am and 12pm. Receptionists start at 8am when you can ring to make an appointment.
A standard consultation is approximately 10-15 minutes. If you require a longer consultation, please notify Reception when booking your appointment. We understand your time is valuable, and every effort is made to keep to appointment times; however, patient medical needs are unpredictable. Please accept our apologies in advance should you experience an extended waiting period.

Walk in appointments
Each patient that arrives without an appointment will be assessed by Reception via the POPGUNS urgency criteria. If the patient is in pain, then the nurse will triage as to the urgency of the situation. If it is not an urgent matter, reception will offer the next available appointment.
If patients require communication services:
Patients requiring communication assistance (such as AUSLAN or interpreter services) are asked to inform Reception when making the appointment.
Doctors make visits to regular patients of our practice, where it is safe and reasonable in their homes, in nursing homes or hospitals if their patients are acutely ill, immobile or elderly.
Emergency and After hours
If you require medical attention after hours please phone the National Home Doctor Service on 13 74 25 to arrange an after hours consult. Another alternative is to attend the Emergency Department of Rockingham General Hospital.
